Our friend Beth came to WhatGives through the referral of our good friend, Pat S.
Beth’s story is a really sad one. She was married and had four children with a man who ended up being a violent alcoholic. Not only did this impact the mental health of the family but it also had long term affects on Beth’s ability to earn income.
After a long drawn out battle for custody and eventually a divorce which left her without any income and any funds, Beth started to take classes to learn a trade and use that to earn income. Things have slowly become more stable for Beth and her children but there is no room for any type of extraneous spending once the day to day bills are paid.
We are trying to raise money so that Beth can take the final semester of classes so that she can become certified in biorhythm therapy, which is used to heal trauma and a technique in which Beth has personal experience with it’s power to heal past trauma.
