My name is Ashley and I’m a single mother of two children, one of whom is only 6 months old. I experienced a dramatic income reduction during covid and had to end up taking out several loans I am now paying back. Then I had to take maturity leave and my job didn’t offer paid leave. I am back at work but it took everything I had to pay my rent and utilities and make sure my children got a small Christmas (mainly the 12 year old since the baby is so young). I have a car and auto insurance payment coming up that totals almost $600. I am asking for $425 so I won’t lose my only transportation (I have $150 myself).
