My name is Linda and I am a survivor of domestic violence and I am currently participating in a program with Interact designed to help women become financially independent.
I am trying to see if I could get some financial assistance to fix my car. Since I have a restraining order against my husband, I was left with a very old and very bad vehicle and it is my only means to get to work.
The car just started making a very loud clicking/ticking noise and I need to get if to a shop ASAP as it is getting worse and a warning light came on in the dash. I don’t have an exact estimate for repairs but fear it will be costly. I can feel the car shaking. This is my only means of transportation for work to continue to keep myself financially stable as I do not have a savings account established yet.
